The Dilemma

Ladies and gentlemen, I have a legitimate dilemma going on in my sneakerhead life right now. As we near end of October, the basketball season begins to roll around. As of today, there are 11 days left until basketball season officially starts. If the season started today, I'd have to ball in my either pair of my Cp3's. However, I don't really want to do this. But I'll post pics of my sneakers right now, and then in my next blog we'll venture out to the possibilities of the sneakers for this upcoming season. Below are the CP3 6, USA and the CP3 6 AE

Sneaker Challenge 11

This is the final sneaker challenge of the year, as we reach the end for LeBron. The 11's dropped in early October, and our final battle commences. The LeBron 11's are another unique style, and to be honest, I'm not completely sure as to how i feel about them. They're definitely different than anything we've seen. Due to the "boxyness" of the shoe, I am left selecting the Jordan XI's for the W here. The "Bred 11's" are the most popular Jordan ever sold, as sleek leather is introduced to the sneaker world. I'm not personally a huge fan, and a lot of hype surrounds this shoe. In my opinion, the Jordan 11's are the Jordan 10's flamboyant cousin. But hey, if you're into that, go for it. It's going to be interesting, the future of the signature sneakers, and I'm looking forward most to the Kobe 9's as I have become a huge Kobe sneaker fan. here's the pics!

Sneaker Challenge 10

The 10's are the toughest decision in this ranking so far. The 10's are my personal favorite Jordan style. There simple, yes, I'll admit that, but the simplicity is a bliss for this style. I love the 10's, and I haven't seen a color way that I don't like. The White/Royal is my personal favorite, and the soles are original, and very stylish. 10's are an interesting style, as they can be worn with almost any outfit. They look great under shorts with mid socks on, fit nicely under jeans, and they're classy enough that they could be worn casually with certain colorways. The LeBron X on the other hand, are my favorite LeBron's so far. There's a lot of colorways, and Nike took a gamble here, with a Swoosh that points towards the hell, something that we haven't seen before either. The Elite colorways are a personal favorite, and I also like the "South Beach" style, as it isn't always easy to mesh red and orange. In conclusion, the conservative, simplicity of the Jordan X's (barely) beat the outgoing, risk-taking LeBron X's. Here's some pics

Sneaker Challenge 9

Kobe leaves us, as his 9th signature shoe has not dropped yet, however, we have seen a possible sneak preview. We are now down to the final 3 sneakers of the countdown, and only MJ and LBJ remain. Here's the 9's! LeBron picks up a rare win over Jordan here, as the LeBron 9's are an impressive shoe. I'm not a huge fan of the Jordan 9, however the Doernbecher colorway looks pretty fly. Another contributing facor is that this shoe originally debuted as a cleat since Jordan was with the Chicago White Sox at the time. The LeBron 9's pick up a win here, and I haven't seen a colorway of the shoe that I don't like. The Elites and the South Beach colorways make take these shoes above their original ranking.

Sneaker Challenge 8

The crazy 8's! In 3rd, the Kobe 8's. I'm not too fond of these, however I do like some colorways. The grafiti and coral snake options gave this shoe some unique styles, but we saw some other good looking shoes in this category. However, I just saw the preview picture of the Kobe 9's, and they are HOTT This number results in a tie for me. I like both of these shoes, and their similar in a major way. The white base with red and black details are my personal favorite for both shoes. With the LeBron's, we saw the first South Beach colorway, and with the Jordan's we saw the first straps. 2 hot styles results in a tie.

Sneaker challenge 7

7 is a very hot number. In 3rd, the LeBrons, they aren't that bad, but the other kicks are stellar. The Jordan 7's have more of a classy look to them, and there are some nice colorways, my fav's probably being the flashy blue white and red. The Kobe 7's are number 1 BY FAR, I love this style and there are so many colorways. I love the 7's, fireberrys, and Elites. great shoe, great style, great colors.

Sneaker challenge 6

KD is currently on his 6th signature shoe, so after this blog, he leaves us. But it's not leaving without some heat. In 4th place, the Kobes. This shoes are not bad actually, but there's some solid kicks in the 6 category. We finally saw some decent colorways as well, and the snakeskin effect will bring a bright future (spoiler alert) In 3rd, the Jordans, I'm not a huge fan of the 6's, mostly because of the lacks of a lot of colorways. The USA look is my personal favorite. In 2nd, we finally saw a good looking LeBron. it only took 6 tries, but I really liked this shoe, and it is 1 of the 2 LeBron shoes that I have ever owned. In first place, I really like the KD 6. These only come in lows, and the huge Nike logo is hot. This shoe already has some great colorways, and the Paris look almost made me a KD fan. Check em out.

sneaker challenge 5

I'm really not too crazy about any of these to be completely honest. In 4th, the Kobe's. The 5's look very similar to the 4's in my opinion, and I'm not much of a fan. In 3rd place, the LeBrons. These are certainly a step above the 4's. I like the straps, and it's good to see that we're making improvements. In 2nd place, The Jordans. Yes, this is correct, the Jordans aren't number 1. These shoes are too loud for me, and I haven't been very thrilled about any of the colorways that I've seen. These shoes are big as well, and I can't help but think that the weight slowed MJ down. In 1st, I like the KD's. The design isn't too crazy, but the simplicity is stellar. I really like the low version as well, the Oklahoma tornado colorway is hot, and it's not easy to pull off a blue and yellow base.

Sneaker challenge 4

The 4's are tough to chose from. In 4th place, the LeBrons. These shoes are kind of crazy, and the "fruity pebbles" colorway are the only colorway that I can see myself wearing. I'm not a fan. The 3rd place goes to the Kobes, we didn't see any special colorways, but I am a fan of the low kicks. In 2nd, the KD's. These would go first if they had almost any other number, but I'm a big fan of the J4's. This kick saw some sick colorways, and the low style with the strap had these kicks being sold out in a lot of places. 1st goes to the Jordan's. The 4's are one of my all time favorite, especially the stealth, true blue, and green glow. Check em out!

sneaker challange part 3

The three's brought some interesting kicks to the plate. We start to see some serious heat in terms of colorways with these shoes. In 4th place, the LeBron 3. These shoes are rather basic once again, but they are certainly better than the 2's. In third palce, the KD's. These are a step up from the 2's as well in my opinon, but we didn't see very many colorways. In 2nd, the Kobe's. These kicks are very unique to say the least. The large Nike logo coming from the heel is sick. This shoe also brought some cool colorways, my personal favorite being the grey and blue. In 1st place, the Jordans. These are 1 of the most popular retros yet, however I'm not such a huge fan, but the true blue colorway puts this shoe to the top spot. However, it was a close one to say the least.

Sneaker Challenge Part 2

In 4th place, the Lebron 2. Designers took a chance with this outrages design, and it's safe to say that they failed. Miserably. This shoe is most likely the ugliest that you'll see on this blog. In 3rd, the Jordan 2 is rather ugly as well. It's a very plain design, and we don't see many logos. Not very flashy at all. In 2nd, the Kobe 2. This shoe wouldn't get the 2 spot if the 3rd and 4th places weren't so ugly. It's just #Basic. The KD 2 is the only shoe in this blog that I can actually see myself enjoyably wearing. Sorry to trash the others, but the KD certainly takes the 1 spot for the 2's.

the shoe Challenge

These next blog posts are going to be pretty sweet. I am going to rank the shoes by number of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, and yes, of course, Michael Jordan. Starting with 1. Here we go. For their first signature shoe, the rankings go like this. In 4th place, the KD 1. This shoe is kind of a basic design, as are the others, but people will still be looking forward to the 1st retro release. In 3rd place, the LeBron 1, aka the Nike Zoom Generation. This design is rather basic as well, but is more of a sleek design. In 2nd place, the Kobe 1. This shoe features a crazy midsole, as well as a gap in the heel. The Jordan 1 takes 1st, no surprise. But anyways this shoe is classic, and it started a phenomonon. This shoe has also seen a lot of colorways, unlike the others. It's one of the most popular sneakers ever, and it has to take 1st place here.
